Confeticakes was established in 2014 by Juan Jose and Luz Mar, who currently have more than thirty years of experience in this sector. Their vision has been to provide added value to Confeticakes by creating toppings for the Sweet world with exceptional quality, offering solutions and value to our clients.

In this time since our founding, significant progress has been achieved, developing product after product in an innovative manner and improving our manufacturing and quality processes. As a result, we are now one of the leading companies in the sector and our products are exported worldwide.

We currently operate in modern facilities covering 3,000 m² and our team consists of sixty highly committed and continuously trained employees. Our annual production amounts to 4,000 tons of toppings, with considerable future growth capacity.

Traditionally, the sugar toppings industry develops and manufactures its products using low pressure, prioritising large quantities but producing very low-quality results. Because of this, products lose their colour easily and are not resistant to heat or humidity.

We have exclusively developed an extrusion process that prioritises high pressure and the final quality of our toppings. Thanks to the high pressure achieved, we obtain the highest quality on the market, significantly
increasing the stability and resistance of the product. We manufacture sugar decorations that do not lose colour and that are resistant to baking, freezing and humidity, making them unique in the market.

QUALITY AND FOOD SAFETY AT CONFETICAKES

At Confeticakes, we have a Quality and Food Safety Department that ensures that all our products comply with the highest international standards of safety, quality and traceability. Our food safety management system is certified and recognised by the GFSI. We apply HACCP to analyse and manage potential hazards in raw materials and processes, address potential threats to food defence, guarantee protection against intentional contamination and assess vulnerability to food fraud with the goal of ensuring the safety, authenticity and integrity of our products.

We are committed to ensuring that every product in our catalogue is safe and compliant with the regulations of any country to which it is exported. Our aim is to be a reference in quality and food safety. We guarantee our customers trust by providing inspections and evidence of compliance to both them and to the relevant authorities.

At Confeticakes, we maintain a constant search for innovation, aimed both at optimising our processes and providing more efficient and faster solutions for our customers. This approach drives us to continuously improve, adapt to trends and develop distinctive products with proven quality.

We have a team of five experts dedicated to the continuous development of new flavours, shapes, textures and product lines.

Sugar Shapes

In 2014, our first major challenge took place: we started developing a range of shapes using our exclusive machines. We achieved greater quality, sharper definition and excellent resistance. Today, we offer more than 200 available shapes and new shapes are designed every day. Personalised shapes can be developed. Only imagination is the limit.

Sugar Strands

In 2018, we decided to take on the next challenge: manufacturing sugar strands in a completely different way to improve quality. Today, we offer a wide range of sugar strands with incredible resistance. Colour can be added to products with the assurance that it will never fade.

Nonpareils

In 2020, we observed that nonpareils were traditionally manufactured using a slow rolling method. We developed a completely different system that has revolutionised the market.

Crunchy pearl

In 2022, we had an idea: creating a product with an intense flavour, crunchy texture, great resistance and allergen-free. From this idea, our Crunchy Pearl range was born. It is extremely crunchy and very flavourful. Any flavour can be developed.

Gold & Silver Products

In 2024, following the prohibition of E-171, our I+D team worked intensively to develop this new range. As a result, we now offer highly shiny and eye-catching products, with the possibility of creating other metallic
colours.

In 2025, many of our clients requested the development of colored sugar with greater resistance. We now offer it with double sealing for better durability. It is an ideal product for adding different colours.
